Family Photographs

I’ve been trying to carry my camera around with me more often. For years, it was attached to my shoulder wherever I went. I took pictures all the time, of daily life, portraits, my travels, assignments. But somewhere along the way, I began leaving it at home more often. And then more often still, until one day I realized I hadn’t carried my camera with me in quite some time.

It’s funny how quickly things can normalize. How life changes. How habits can shift.

As I’ve picked up my camera again, outside of assignments, I’ve seen my lens focused more on family and friends, things closer to home. It’s strange being this close after being away for so long. Watching the years drop like flies.

Anyway. Here are some family photos. Birthdays, the Fourth of July, vacations, and more. Nothing big. No grand statements. Just a guy with a camera.
