Inspired by deep cultural traditions, sustainable agriculture, and the rhythms of rural life, Tikkiwallah works with ethnic communities in Thailand and Laos to create small-batch textiles and home goods, all crafted with minimal intervention, blending time-honored techniques with thoughtful contemporary designs. I’ve worked with founder Rachna Sachasinh and her team of weavers, dyers, and designers for several years, traveling to remote villages and countrysides to help tell the story of Tikkiwallah and the artisans Rachna collaborates with. These are some of the photographs we’ve taken along the way. You can visit Tikkiwallah and learn more about their work HERE.
